I’m interested in how space and light, motion and transitions help us see, explore and understand our inner and outer experiences. I’m attracted to artwork that incorporates multiple spaces or multiple views of a single space to create a sense of the flux of lived experience. Examples of other people’s work that I like are:
I worked in finance for several years before switching to full-time artist. I’ve served on several boards, including an arts advisory board and an artist co-op. I even co-chaired an election campaign once!
I earned a BFA in Painting and a BA in Economics from the University of Washington, and live in Seattle, where I often have my nose in a book on philosophical aesthetics or someone’s autobiography.
